Armstead Out Week 1
LT Terron Armstead of the Miami Dolphins will not play against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1. I first saw the news reported by Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.
Next Man UP
The next up man statement is true, but it stinks that it has to come so early in the season for the Dolphins. Even though this news was not unexpected it still stings. Miami is simply better with Armstead on the field you do not need to be a football guru to know that much.
So Kendall Lamm next up at LT. Played well before injury Jan. 1 in NE and played well in preseason. https://t.co/f6ZPXPetOu

OT Kendall Lamm will get the nod as the starter in the first game of the season. Lamm will be tested without a doubt as the Chargers have two really good push rushers and defenders by the name of Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack. If Lamm is not ready to step up to plate, it might be a long day for Tua Tagovailoa and the offense as a whole.
No Excuses
The Dolphins will not make any excuses, so fans should not either. Miami must find a way to win when starters miss time if they expect to be a serious playoff winning caliber football team.
