Miami Dolphins News 10/23/2023

The Miami Dolphins are now 5 and 2 after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles during Sunday Night Football. The head coach, Mike McDaniel, spoke with the media today in his day after game press conference with the media.

Hard Knocks to Winning?

It was announced that Dolphins will be featured on HBO’s Hard Knocks. It will be the “in season” version of the show. McDaniel does not feel like it will be a distraction, but said it was not a team decision to be in it. He went on to state he does not worry about things that he can’t control.

The Injury Front

Left guard Isaiah Wynn will miss weeks as a result of a quadriceps injury per McDaniel. The injury to Wynn occurred during last night’s game. Lester Cotton and Robert Jones are options to fill in for Wynn while he is out injured.

LB David Long has been cleared to play and is not experiencing concussion symptoms. Long and S Jevon Holland collided with each other. Long did not return to the game yesterday. Holland who was cleared to return to the game yesterday but experience concussion symptoms today reported it to the team and is now in protocol.

WR Jaylen Waddle seems like he should be okay. Waddle left the game for a brief period last night with back pain.

Ramsey to Return this Week?

There were some national reports that stated that DB Jalen Ramsey could return this week to face the Patriots. But, the coach did not confirm if he expects Ramsey to play. He said that Ramsey had a great practice week but they are taking it a day at a time.
