The Miami Dolphins have extended Austin Jackson’s contract per media reports.

The Dolphins drafted Jackson with the second of their 3 first round picks of the 2020 NFL Draft. He was drafted with the 18th overall selection. The right tackle had battle through some injuries as well as some inconsistent play heading into the 2023 season. Miami did not pick up the 5th year option on Jackson, so many labeled him a “bust.” But, he has become a vital piece of the improved offensive line of the Dolphins.

A well deserved extension.
