Cam Smith Signs Contract

Cam Smith signs his rookie contract with the Miami Dolphins. The Fins have now signed all of their 2023 NFL Draft choices. Miami is left with a little over 12 million dollars in cap space.

Cam Smith is signed, so does that mean that the Dolphins will now turn their attention to outside free agents? Or give extensions to current players on Miami’s roster?

Do the Dolphins make a move on Dalvin Cook or do they take care of players that are already on the team? Or do they look for some help at defensive tackle?

Christian Wilkins, Conor Williams, and Zach Sieler all seem to want new contracts from the Dolphins. They are all under contract for the 2023 season but all three will be free agents when the league year is over.

Tell us your thoughts. A Wilkins extension could free up more cap space for this year. But, there would be a lot of high-price contracts going into next year. We will see!
