The Miami Dolphins just had their bye week, so they need to get back to winning football games. There is some Miami Dolphins news. Practice squad moves and a key player returning from injury. HC Mike McDaniel held his Monday press conference.

RB De’Von Achane’s 21-day window is now open. Achane practiced with the team today. McDaniel did not say if the rookie star would play this week against the Las Vegas Raiders.

The offensive line still has some questions surrounding the status of RG Robert Hunt and OL Robert Jones. McDaniel described both players as week to week and not day to day.

RB Raheem Mostert, FB Alec Ingold, WR Braxton Berrios and WR Chase Claypool were not seen by media today during the practice session that the media observed.

Practice Squad Moves

The Dolphins signed WR Anthony Schwartz to the practice squad (PS). Schwartz is a South Florida native that is known for his speed. He was a third round pick of the Cleveland Browns in 2021.

The Dolphins released WR Raleigh Webb off the practice squad to make room for Schwartz.

DT Brandon Pili is on the practice squad after being waived last week to make room for LT Terron Armstead to return to the active roster to face the KC Chiefs. Pili was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by Miami following the 2023 NFL Draft.

DT Rashard Lawrence was released the from the PS to make room for Pili. Lawrence did not play a game with Miami after being signed to the PS.
