The Miami Dolphins beat the Carolina Panthers

Dolphins Beat Panthers 42 to 21

The Miami Dolphins are now 5 and 1! After falling behind 14 to 0 early, the Dolphins got rolling as they stomped the Carolina Panthers by a score of 42 to 21. The Philadelphia Eagles are up next.

The Dolphins Stomp the Panthers

The Panthers to their credit came out strong as they rolled out to a 14 to 0 lead. Miami took awhile to get going, but they responded in a big way as they put up 35 unanswered points on the Panthers. Carolina’s only score after the 14 to 0 lead was a pick 6 throw by Dolphins backup QB Mike White in mop duty in the 4th quarter.

Miami would also add another touchdown at the end of the game. There was one bad note on the injury front near the end of the game, rookie RB Chris Brooks went down with an injury.

Raheem Mostert and Tyreek Hill

Each week it seems like RB Raheem Mostert and WR Tyreek Hill are putting up video game like numbers. Mostert has 11 touchdowns (9 rushing, 2 receiving) after 6 games! Hill already has 800 receiving yards. QB Tua Tagovailoa had 3 TD throws today with 0 interceptions.

Defense Steps Up

After the Panthers scored on the their 2nd and 3rd drives of the game, Miami kept their offense off the scoreboard the rest of the way.

Some will say that Miami has not beaten any quality teams outside of the Los Angeles Chargers in week one, but they have done what is needed. In the past, Miami would lose games that they “should win.” Every week there are upsets in the NFL, Miami has not fallen to the upset bug yet.

Enjoy this win form your Dolphins! We all know that Eagles will be hungry coming off their first loss of the season, but tonight and tomorrow enjoy this W!
