Dolphins Defeat the Patriots
The Miami Dolphins once again handled business at home as they defeated the New England Patriots. Miami won 31 to 17 as they ran their record to 6 and 2 which is good for first place in the AFC East.
First Place
Miami needed to win today to remain alone atop of the AFC East since the Buffalo Bills had already won on Thursday night. The Dolphins beat the Patriots for the second time this season to complete the season series sweep from their division rival.
QB Tua Tagovailoa tossed 3 touchdown passes in the victory. RB Raheem Mostert added a rushing touchdown. Mostert now has 12 TDs on the season (10 rushing, 2 receiving). Tagovailoa TD passes went to receivers Tyreek Hill, Cedrick Wilson, and Jaylen Waddle.
Ramsey’s Returns to Action
DB Jalen Ramsey did not disappoint in his first game a Dolphins players. He had an interception and forced the ball out on another play. He made an impact today and should be a big factor moving forward.
KC Up Next
The Kansas City Chiefs lost today to drop to 6 and 2. So, both the Dolphins and Chiefs will enter next week’s game in Germany with the same record. It will be a big test for the Dolphins since everyone says Miami can’t beat the really good teams. This game will be a way to put that narrative to rest with a victory.
