Miami Dolphins, Robert Hunt, News

Dolphins News and Notes 11/21/2023

Fresh off their 20 to 13 victory, the Miami Dolphins are preparing in this short week. The Dolphins will travel to take on the New York Jets in the first ever NFL game on Black Friday.

Miami Dolphins Updates

RB De’Von Achane returned to action against the Las Vegas Raiders after a four game stint on injured reserve (IR). But, after a few plays, Achane had to leave as a result of an issue with the knee that had placed him on the IR.

HC Mike McDaniel said Achane is day to day. He would not comment on if Achane will play or sit out against the Jets.

LG Robert Jones and RG Robert Hunt both missed the Raiders game due to injury. Both players are considered week to week. Of the two, it appears Hunt might be closer to a return to action.

Moves Running Low

The Dolphins have used 6 of their 8 moves in terms of bringing players back from injured lists. RB Chris Brooks is eligible to have his 21-day window open. It will be interesting to see if they make that move or keep those 2 moves open in case of other injuries.

No Zach Wilson as Starter

The Jets have announced that QB Zach Wilson has been benched for this week’s game. Tim Boyle will get the start at quarterback against Miami.
