Dolphins Thoughts & Notes
Random Dolphins thoughts and notes on this Wednesday before the Miami Dolphins take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football (TNF).
Dolphins Thoughts and Notes
The Dolphins left South Florida this morning to fly to Cincinnati. They always travel out a day ahead, but they moved it up to an earlier flight to avoid any delays with Hurricane Ian as it barrels down on SouthWest Florida. Here are some Dolphins thoughts and notes.
Tua Tagovailoa is dealing with a sore back as well as an ankle issue. But, it seems like Tua is expected to play at this time. Barry Jackson reported that three players sat out of Tuesday’s walk-through practice. The three players were (LT) Terron Armstead (toe), (TE) Cethan Carter (concussion protocol), and (TE) Hunter Long (ankle). Jackson also advised that nine players were limited on Tuesday:
- (WR) Jaylen Waddle (groin)
- (WR) Cedrick Wilson Jr (ribs)
- (DT) Raekwon Davis (knee)
- (DL) Zach Sieler (hand)
- (CB) Xavien Howard (groin/glute)
- (CB) Kader Kohou (ankle)
- (S) Brandon Jones (chest)
- (OL) Robert Hunt (shin)
- (QB) Tua Tagovailoa
Random Dolphins thoughts. TNF games are tough for both teams as they have to deal with a shortened week of game preparations. The Dolphins are coming off a very emotional victory against the Buffalo Bills. The Dolphins’ defense was on the field for the majority of the game. Yet, maybe that means the offense will be fresh against the Bengals.
Hoping the Dolphins’ defense can muster some pressure against Joe Burrow. Also, I would like to see Miami improve their rushing attack this week. Miami currently is among the worst in the NFL in yards per rush. Yet, it has not cost Miami a game at this point. But. moving forward a well-balanced offense will be needed. It was nice for Chase Edmonds to be able to get the first two rushing touchdowns of the season for Miami against the Bills. Send your Dolphins’ thoughts to us on Twitter (@dolphinthirsty).
