Fanduel week 12

Fanduel Week 12

After a bye week in week 11 the Dolphins find themselves with a great matchup in week 12 of Fanduel against the Houston Texans. The Texans have been a team to target players for daily fantasy purposes. A lot of Dolphins players look good this week. Miami has had some top talent to play this year so far. This week will be no different. We will even find some new players this week to play on Fanduel. Let’s look at all the Miami options and other players as well in this one.

Quarterbacks for Week 12 of Fanduel

Following three straight weeks tallying 23 or more fantasy points, Tua Tagovailoa is the fourth highest-priced quarterback on the main slate for Fanduel. This week he has one of the best matchups on the slate as well and could be worth paying up for. The Dolphins are the seventh-highest-scoring team in the league and are playing the Texans who rank decently against the pass but give up 23 points per game. If this game is somewhat close it could help Tua be a top fantasy play.

$100 less than Tua this week is Lamar Jackson. He is in a good spot as well against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jackson brings more of a threat on the ground than Tua does and he could be a candidate to be the highest-scoring quarterback on the slate as well. For a better value, you could look to Mike White at just $6,200, the cheapest starter on the slate. White is filling in for Zach Wilson and White memorably had 405 passing yards in a game last year.

Running Backs

In the Dolphins’ last game Raheem Mostert was out carried by the new acquisition, Jeff Wilson Jr. in the game. Wilson went off for 119 rushing yards with a touchdown. This week Mostert is doubtful to play which could benefit Wilson even more. Houston has the worst rushing defense as far as yards allowed per game. His price tag is high at $7,700 but it could be worth it as he is in a spot to be the best running back on the entire slate.

With a concussion to Joe Mixon, Semaje Perine should have a featured role in their game against the Tennessee Titans. Last week he had a ridiculous three touchdown catches. In this game, he should continue to see work in the passing game but he also projects for a good amount of carries at just $6,600 on Fanduel.

Wide Receivers that might get open for Fanduel Week 12 Players

Tyreek Hill is the most expensive wide receiver on this slate at $9,200. It is a high price tag to pay off but with the number of targets that Hill gets and turns into large plays he could be worth it. It’s a risky play with the Dolphins possibly game-planning to run the ball on this poor Houston run defense. A cheaper player at wide receiver is Hill’s counterpart, Jaylen Waddle. He comes in at $8,100, which is $1,100 less to get a big part of this Miami pass offense.

To get a part of the opposing side of the Dolphins game you could target Brandin Cooks. Teams have been able to put up points up against Miami and Cooks has that big-play ability to put up huge ceiling games at just $6,100.

Tight Ends

Mike Gesicki has been extremely touchdown dependent this year. He continues to be a risky play with so many other options on the team. If you want to get a part of the Dolphins passing game thinking he will get a touchdown, you can fire him up for just $5,000. He’s one of the cheaper starting tight ends this week.

There are some very high-priced tight ends on this slate who project very well in Travis Kelce and Mark Andrews. For some value look to Greg Dulcich or Cole Kmet, who both come in at just $5,300. These two are big parts of their respective offenses and may prove to be some of the best value on the entire slate.

Defense

Miami is one of the most-expensive defenses this week due to their matchup against Houston. It is one of the best teams to target a defense against. They make for a great play but their salary could limit the other players in your lineup.

To get some more value from your defense look to the Denver Broncos. They have consistently held teams to 20 points or less in all their games except two. At just $3,900 Denver seems like a good bet to be a top-value defense. They have yet to score a defensive touchdown but against Carolina, they should have their best shot of the season with a new quarterback in Sam Darnold.
