Fanduel Week 16 Dolphins Thirsty

Fanduel Week 16

Fanduel Week 16 is here! The Dolphins play on Sunday, Christmas day. There are just three games on the Sunday slate and Dolphins players may be heavily-owned players on Fanduel. After four-straight weeks where the offense hasn’t been as electric as it was earlier in the season, Miami will look to get back on track as we come close to the Dolphins’ first smell of playoff football in quite some time.

Quarterbacks Week 16 Fanduel

Out of the six starting quarterbacks on the Sunday-Fanduel slate, Tua has by far the highest price at $8,400. It is a high price to pay as the next most expensive is Tom Brady at just $7,500. We all know that Tua is completely capable of blowing up a slate with a massive score and he could be worth a shot even at that price on this small slate.

Out of the three games on Sunday, the Broncos vs Rams game may be one to try to avoid. That means that the other quarterbacks to consider should be Brady or Aaron Rodgers. The other quarterback is Trace McSorely, who is the third string for Arizona who will be forced to start without Kyler Murray and Colt McCoy. Either Brady or Rodgers could be a good option to save money at QB if you don’t go with Tua this week. Pick the right targets for Week 16 of Fanduel!

Running Backs

Raheem Mostert saw nearly all of the running back work for the Dolphins last week with Jeff Wilson missing the game. He responded with 136 yards rushing on his 17 carries. Half of those yards he got on one carry. With Wilson back for this game he could see a decreased role this week and it may be worth taking a shot on Wilson at $6,000 on Fanduel compared to Mostert at $7,400 if you are going to go with a Dolphins running back.

Both Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon were great last week for Green Bay. Jones is the highest-priced running back Sunday against Miami and could be a good option, especially if Dillon misses the game due to his concussion. Another situation to monitor is Latavius Murray for the Broncos. He will have a good matchup against the Rams after his best game of the season last week. Murray is questionable though which could open up the door for Marlon Mack to be the workhorse. Mack has had back-to-back 14+ Fanduel point weeks while receiving just nine or less touches in both games.

Wide Receivers that Might Make you Happy in Week 16 of Fanduel

We finally saw another big game for Jaylen Waddle last week but he only had three catches. It will be a risky play again due to his lack in touches with his price also now up to $7,800. Tyreek Hill is the most-expensive player on Sunday regardless of position but he has been great. He has scored a touchdown in the last five of six games he has played in.

There aren’t a ton of other great options at wide receiver on this three-game slate. Chris Godwin may be one of the safer plays for Tampa Bay at $8,000 or you could take a shot on Christian Watson from Green Bay this week due to his big-play ability. A value play from Green Bay could be Romeo Doubs who had five catches for 55 yards last week in his return to the lineup at just $5,500.

Tight Ends

Mike Gesicki finally caught a pass after not bringing in one for three weeks in a row. His lone catch last week was for just five yards, however. He can’t be trusted as a play at tight end and doesn’t even make a good punt play at a high price of $4,700 still. Picks for TE that might be better options for Week 16 of Fanduel are below!

A better punt tight end play could be Trey Mcbride for the Cardinals who is filling in for Zach Ertz. He had four catches for 55 yards last week. Another tight option could be Tyler Higbee or Greg Dulcich, although they are more expensive.

Defense Pick for Fanduel Week 13

Miami’s defense is priced at $4,200 this week as they face Green Bay. The Packers offense has been solid the past three weeks scoring 33, 28, and 24 points. Miami isn’t a terrible option as a defense at that price though this week

There are three defenses on this slate that appear better than Miami. That is Tampa Bay against Arizona with a third-string quarterback, Denver who barely gives up points to anyone except Kansas City, and the Rams who face Denver, a team that can barely score most weeks.
