Fanduel week 9

Fanduel Week 9 Tips Dolphins

Fanduel Week 9 is here! But, a quick look at last week. The Dolphins had one of the best matchups you could get fantasy-wise last week when they played the Detroit Lions. We were heavy on the core Dolphins’ players like Tua Tagovailoa, both of his wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, as well as Raheem Mostert and tight end Mike Gesicki. All of them had nice fantasy outputs, besides Mostert who managed just under 70 yards but with no touchdowns.

This week is another great matchup for the Dolphins against the Chicago Bears. We should feel comfortable firing them up again this week.

Quarterbacks for Fandeul Week 9

Tua had another great performance last week. He threw three touchdowns with no interceptions and 382 yards passing. This week we should be able to count on him again to have a standout performance. He comes in as the fourth-highest-priced quarterback this week for the second-straight week. It’s a more expensive price tag at $8,000 though but it could pay off. Other Fanduel Week QBs below.

Some cheaper quarterbacks to consider could be Justin Fields and Trevor Lawrence. Fields has been getting better every week it seems. His Fanduel points have gone from 17 to 19 to 24 to 26 in the past four weeks. With the rushing upside that Fields has, his ceiling is higher than a lot of other quarterbacks on the slate. Lawrence is at a very fair price of $6,800. After a down week against a tough Denver defense, Lawrence could be a nice bounce-back candidate. He has some high upside with two 25-point games this year.

Fanduel Running Backs for Week 9

Last week Raheem Mostert was somewhat of a letdown. He did still get 14 carries and produced decent yardage but didn’t find the end zone in a high-scoring game. The Dolphins also went out and traded for a running back, Jeff Wilson Jr. who could play this week. With Chase Edmonds traded, Wilson should take his carries and might even cut into Mostert’s carries more than Edmonds had in the beginning of this season. Still, Mostert makes a good play that could be lower-owned.

Aaron Jones finally had another 100+ yard rushing game after having two in his first four games. Green Bay may have found the running game to work and could be committing to that. That is good news for Jones who had 143 rushing yards on 20 carries last week. Now he gets to face the Lions and could have a dominant performance again at just a $7,800 price tag.

Wide Receivers

The two star wide receivers for the Miami Dolphins were able to both have big games last week. Jaylen Waddle managed over 100 yards with two touchdowns and Tyreek Hill had 188 yards. For this week we have seen price hikes again for the two. Waddle is $8,200 and Hill is now $8,700. This is expensive to pay and harder to get both of them in your lineups this week with Tua, but they should both be able to have big games.

Again we didn’t see any third wide receiver standout. The next highest-producing wideout in week eight was Trent Sherfield with just two catches and 25 yards.

A cheaper wide receiver is Chris Godwin. At $6,700 this week 9 of Fanduel Godwin’s have been decent. He has had five straight weeks with at least six catches. He has to find the end zone at some point this season with that kind of volume.

Tight Ends

Mike Gesicki has been another bright spot in the Dolphins’ offense. His game is mostly touchdown dependent though. He should have a good chance of finding the end zone again this week, however. At a favorable price of $5,500, he makes a decent play with some upside.

A cheaper tight end option this week could be Evan Engram at $5,200 to pair with Trevor Lawrence. Engram has caught at least four balls or more in the past four games while averaging 58 yards per contest. Are you in a tight spot finding the right TE for Fanduel in week 9? You got this!

Defense in FanDuel Week 9

The Dolphins defense hasn’t been great in real life or in fantasy. This week they should have a decent matchup against Chicago but the Bears are actually much improved from the beginning of the year. It may be hard to recommend them if they were not just $3,600. If you need a cheap defense, they could be worth a shot this week.

For $5,000 you can get the Bills defense against the Jets. This is one of the best defenses in the NFL going against a team that turns the ball over a ton. Buffalo could break the slate, but they also will limit what you can do with some of your other positions.
