Fins Up Notes Kendall Lamm Dolphins thirsty

Fins Up Notes

Some notes for the Fins Up faithful. No big news coming from the Miami Dolphins today. Miami flew out west yesterday to get accustomed to the time zone change.

Fins Up Notes on Roster

Miami announced today (12/03/2022) that they have made a couple of roster moves. They have elevated (T) Kendall Lamm and (OL) James Empey to the active roster from the practice squad.

These moves make sense with the unknown status of (T) Terron Armstead and (T/OL) Austin Jackson over the next couple of weeks. Miami just signed Lamm on 11/28/2022. According to Pro Football Reference, Lamm has appeared in 86 NFL games starting 28 of them. Hopefully, the veteran will be ready to roll if needed.

Empey has not seen any NFL action. He played his college ball at BYU where he started 41 games. He went undrafted as a center. It is unknown at this time if Empey will be the backup center or if can he also play guard as well if needed.

The Tough Part is Upon Us

I’ve been saying for weeks that these next three road games will tell the football world where the Dolphins stand. Are they contenders or pretenders? I tend to feel that the 2022 version of the Miami Dolphins is a contender. We will all soon find out together. I will be taking notes along the way, but I feel some Fins Up moments coming.

The San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Chargers (I did not call them San Diego!), and the Buffalo Bills will be the litmus test without a doubt. All three games are on the road. All three teams will be playing for playoff positioning. To be considered good you have to beat good, so this is the time for the Fins to make others take notes as Miami moves up the playoff standings.

Can’t wait for the game? Pass time and take some Fins quizzes as you move that Dolfan IQ up! Take notes, we will ask some of the same questions in future tests! Follow and like Dolphins Thirsty on Facebook if you get a minute!
