Free Agent OT Cameron Fleming Visits Dolphins

It’s officially Draft week and the Miami Dolphins, who own the 51st pick in the draft and are rumored to be interested in trading up into the first round are still exploring free agent options.

Yesterday, the Dolphins brought in former Broncos offensive tackle Cameron Fleming in for a visit.

The 6’5 320 Ibs Fleming (30) played for the Denver Broncos last season, where he was coached by current Dolphins offensive line coach Butch Berry.

Drafted out of the 4th round by the New England Patriots in 2014, Fleming finished out his rookie deal there before moving on to the Cowboys, Giants, and then Broncos. Last season, Fleming, in 976 snaps – gave up 7 sacks and received 6 penalties. He was graded at 72.6 for his play last season by Pro Football Focus.

If he were to be signed by Miami, he would more than likely compete for the back up role behind Austin Jackson who has been deemed the starter (for now) by General Manager Chris Grier in his pre-draft press conference.

Would you like the Dolphins to sign Fleming? or would you rather them draft a Tackle?
