Friday Dolphins

It is a Dolphins Friday as Miami gets set to play the Buffalo Bills in the playoffs. Here are some notes on the Fins!

Friday Notes on the Miami Dolphins

It was announced that Tyreek Hill has been named a first-team All-Pro. The Dolphins made this announcement on Friday via a social media post.

Hill has now been named a 1st Team All-Pro four times. Many people in the media thought that Hill’s production would fall without Patrick Maholmes at quarterback. Those people were wrong! Hill beat his career best in both receptions and yards for a single season even though the Miami Dolphins had a rotation of quarterbacks this season due to injuries.

It appears that Hill at this stage in his career is on track to be a first-ballot induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Injury Update

RB Raheem Mostert has been ruled out this weekend. Mostert had a good game up in Buffalo during the regular season. Now, the Dolphins will have to count on RB Jeff Wilson to step up to the task. The Dolphins acquired Wilson at the NFL trade deadline. Wilson has performed well since joining the team. Salvon Ahmed will also get more opportunities this week. He scored a touchdown when Miami last travelled to Buffalo.

As you know, the Dolphins will rely on Skylar Thompson at quarterback as they battled the Bills in the cold. Miami has a long list of injuries. Miami is currently a 13-point underdog.
