helmet stars week 12

Helmet Stickers Week 12

Time for Helmet Stickers Week 12. The Miami Dolphins dismantled the Houston Texans in the first half yesterday (11/2/2022). At the break, the Fins were up 30 to 0. The final score was 30 to 15.

Players that earned Helmet Stickers for Week 12

Terron Armstead gets a helmet sticker for week 12. His worth to the team was seen right away when he went out injured. The Texans started getting hits on Tua Tagovailoa the moment that Armstead had to exit the game with a pec injury. For his constant efforts to keep Tagovailoa upright, Armstead easily gets a week 12 kudos.

Tagovailoa earned a week 12 helmet sticker for his performance against the Texans. Despite playing just over a half of football, Tua put up 299 passing yards to go along with a touchdown pass.

Speaking of the touchdown pass, Durham Smythe is the player that caught the pass. For his TD reception, I feel that Smythe earned his helmet sticker for week 12.

Jeff Wilson has earned kudos every week that he has been a Miami Dolphins player. Wilson has played in three games for the Fins. He has scored a TD in every one of those games. Players that score tuddys for the Dolphins get a sticker. It not easy to score TDs in the NFL.

The Defense gets some Love

As mentioned above, players that get 6 points for Miami get helmet stickers. For week 12, Xavien Howard gets one for a fumble recovery that he took to the house for a defensive TD. The player that forced the fumble also gets one in this case. That player that jarred the ball loose for Howard was Eric Rowe. Rowe hammered his way to this reward.

Andrew Van Ginkel had an interception that he returned to inside the 10-yard line. His interception and return set up Wilson’s touchdown run.

Verone McKinley also had an interception in week 12 so he gets his 1st helmet sticker! Mckinley’s pick closed out any hope Houston had of mounting a miracle comeback.

Bradley Chubb had a sack and a forced fumble in Miami’s week 12 victory over Houston. So, he gets a sticker for the helmet.

Jason Sanders gets a Week 12 Helmet Sticker

Kicker, Jason Sanders, entered the game in a slump. Yet, he seemed to kick his way out of it during this week’s game. He hit all three of his field goals as well as all three of his extra points.
