The Miami Dolphins got down to the 53 roster limit yesterday (08/29/2023). This BLOG will be updated as news warrants.
Fins Notes
The Dolphins like everyone other team trimmed their roster down to the 53 limit. Today, Miami has already re-signed Parry Nickerson (DB) who they released yesterday. This was no surprise as Nickerson practiced with the team yesterday. He was one of only two players that practiced with the team that got released. The other player way Tyler Kroft (TE). Stay tuned for any Kroft return.

Elijah Thompson DB will remain on active roster despite injury in final exhibition game.
Robert Jones (OL) (DB) and Jalen Ramsey are expected to be placed on IR. They will be designated as to return during season. That is why 2 roster spots became available.
Three Sign Elsewhere
Myles Gaskin (RB) has signed with the Minnesota Vikings. Elijah Higgins (TE) has signed with the Arizona Cardinals, and Ryan Hayes has signed with the Indianapolis Colts.
Gaskin of course has played for the Dolphins and has led the team in rushing two seasons during his time in Miami. Both Higgins (6th Round) and Hayes (7th) round were drafted by Miami in the 2023 NFL Draft.
The Dolphins have not put in any waiver claims.
