Miami Dolphins Free Agency 2023

The Miami Dolphins have added some nice talent to the team via free agency in 2023, Mike White and David Long were the first two new additions when the window to negotiate opened. More on the 2023 Free Agency Moves of the Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins have brought back some of their own players during the start of the free agency period. RB Raheem Mostert, RB Jeff Wilson, LB Duke Riley, RB Myles Gaskin, DB Nik Needham, OL Kendall Lamm, OL Geron Christian, and FB John Lovett all re-signed with the Fins. Miami had already announced that they had re-signed RB Savon Ahmed prior to the start of “legal tampering day.”

I feel that running it back at running back is fine for now as the offseason is just underway. Reports had the Fins kicking the tires on some of big bigger names at the RB position but those players were available only via trade at this time. Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reported that he heard that the Dolphins had explored a trade with the Minnesota Vikings for RB Dalvin Cook. It did not materialize but it shows Miami’s willingness to explore other options. I’m okay with the returning running backs. Yet, I do feel like they should always be looking for any possible upgrades.
