Miami Dolphins Hire Butch Barry

The Miami Dolphins have hired Butch Barry to be their new offensive line (OL) coach according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

Butch Barry has coached in South Florida in the past when he was on the University of Miami coaching staff. He has worked on a staff with Mike McDaniel while in San Francisco. Barry served as an assistant OL coach with the 49ers in 2021. This past season he served as the OL coach of the Denver Broncos. He was let go along with Nathaniel Hackett before the conclusion of the season.

Barry has experience in running the wide zone scheme that is preferred by McDaniel.
