Dolphins News

McDaniel said that WR Jaylen Waddle is still in concussion protocol as result of a hit to the head sustained late in the game against the New England Patriots. The coach said the main concern is making sure Waddle is okay, so there is no rush in getting him onto the practice field.

McDaniel advised that OT Terron Armstead was going to practice today with additional work coming tomorrow. Armstead has not appeared this season for Miami as a result of getting injured in a joint practice with the Houston Texans.

More Updates

The coach said that LB Jaelan Phillips is progressing nicely from last week’s back injury he sustained in practice. Phillips was one of the inactive players for the Patriots game.

RB Salvon Armstead will miss practice today and tomorrow due to the groin injury he suffered on Sunday night.

High Praise for Bradley Chubb

When speaking about LB Bradley Chubb, McDaniel stated,

“There hasn’t been a day that has gone by since we acquired him that I haven’t been thankful. Production has been when, not if. One of the reasons we chose to acquire him and pay him is he is a difference maker that is also selfless.”

Some Thoughts to Ponder

If Waddle is unable to play Sunday, will WR Robbie Chosen be activated for the first time as a Dolphins player?

If Ahmed can’t go, will De’Von Achane move up to the #2 RB spot behind Raheem Mostert?

Will RB Chris Brooks get his first carry or reception in a regular season game?

If Phillips does return, how can they also get LB Andrew Van Ginkel some reps at what he does best on the edge?
