Miami Dolphins news, thirsty

Miami Dolphins News 09/29/2023

The Miami Dolphins news today is not very good on the injury front. Some key contributors will not be playing on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. HC Mike McDaniel spoke with the media today as well which you can see below.

News from the Dolphins

McDaniel advised that LB Jaelan Phillips will not play when the team travels to Buffalo to take on the Bills. Phillips is dealing with an oblique issue. This will be the second game that Phillips has missed this season, he sat out the Patriots game with a back injury. Hopefully, he recovers quickly.

Miami also announced that WR River Cracraft had been placed on injured reserve (IR) and that they had placed WR Erik Ezukanma on the reserve/non-football injury list. They will be out at least four weeks.

Other Notes

The roster moves made by Miami opens up two spots. Is WR Robbie Chosen going to get one of the spots to replace Cracraft? Chosen was activated for the first time this season against the Denver Broncos. He caught a long touchdown pass from backup QB Mike White in the fourth quarter. McDaniel praised Anderson’s overall game during his press conference.

Maybe LB Cameron Goode will get a spot on the active roster since Miami can no longer move up from the practice squad. A team can activate a player only times during a season from the practice squad. Miami did with Goode in the first three weeks of the season.

The Bills will be without S Jordan Poyer due to a knee injury.
