Some Miami Dolphins players returned to practice today. Coach Mike McDaniel held his Wednesday press conference. The Dolphins are coming off their first loss of the season. The team will try to get back to winning this week as they host the New York Giants.

The 21 day window to return to the active roster has been started on DB Nik Needham and OL Robert Jones. Both players were placed on the IR after being initially being on the active roster. That moved meant that the had to sit out at least four weeks but left the door open for their return this season.

If the players are not placed on the active roster during the 21 day period, they will not be able to play this season. They were the only two players that had their window opened this week. RB Jeff Wilson and DB Jalen Ramsey still remain without the 21 day window opening.

Other Notes

S DeShon Elliot missed the Buffalo Bills game due to two injuries, is set to practice this week. LB Jaelan Phillips sat out with an oblique injury, McDaniel would not speak of the LB’s status for this week’s game.

C Connor Williams should practice this week according to McDaniel.

Miami Dolphins not seen at Wednesday practice: Terron Armstead, Raheem Mostert, Justin Bethel. Nik Needham and Robert Jones indeed practicing, opening their 21-day window to be activated off PUP, IR, respectively.

No decision has been made as of today on if OT Terron Armstead will be placed on IR. He will not play this week. If placed on IR, he will be out at least four weeks.
