Miami Dolphins News 10/18/2023
The Miami Dolphins gave out some good news today. The 21 day window has opened for DB Jalen Ramsey. Ramsey has been ruled out for this week, but a return by the Raiders game now seems evident. HC Mike McDaniel spoke with the local media today (See Press Conference Below).
News of the Miami Dolphins
Ramsey seems to be ahead of most people’s projections on his return time. It will be good to see what he can do to help the defense upon his return.
CB Xavien Howard and C Connor Williams will be given some veteran’s rest this week as the both continue to deal with with groin injuries.
RB Jeff Wilson appears ready to play in this week’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. It seems like he will be activated since Miami only has two healthy running backs at this time. The injuries to De’Von Achane and Chris Brooks has left Raheem Mostert and Salvon Ahmed as the only two running backs ready to play.
OT Kendall Lamm and FB Alec Ingold were not spotted at practice today according to various reports.
Dolphins left tackle Kendall Lamm, who has been starting there for injured Terron Armstead, and fullback Alec Ingold not at team’s Wednesday practice — along with CB Xavien Howard, C Connor Williams and RB Chris Brooks, as coach Mike McDaniel noted.

Kicking the Salary Cap
There are reports that Dolphins have restructured the contract of K Jason Sanders to free up some salary cap space. Evan Posner of the Fins Talk Sports Network, loves this move by the Dolphins since it helps the team. Posner is vocal supporter of Sanders even when others are saying it is time for Sanders to go.
Per source the #Dolphins created about $1.33 million in cap room by restructuring Jason Sanders contract. Miami was getting tight on cap room so this gives a little added breathing room
