Miami Dolphins News 10/25/2023
The Miami Dolphins announced some injury news updates today. Mike McDaniel held his mid-week press conference today. There is both good and bad news on the injury front. The Fins will be hosting the New England Patriots this week. Miami is currently 5 and 2.
Dolphins Injury News and Other Notes
On scene media reporters, reported that WR Tyreek Hill was not seen practicing with the team. It seems like Hill is dealing with a hip injury. This topic was not discussed during the press conference since it was not known until the practice started.
Tyreek’s ailment is hip. Not seen today in locker room. Didn’t practice. Tua said we will see Hill again “down the line”..McDaniel speaks before practice, so this didn’t come up today. Mostert (ankle), Rob Jones (personal), Holland (concussion), Ingold (foot) also didn’t practice

A loss of Hill for a prolonged team would obviously be a big blow to the Miami Dolphins. There is not much information at this time, so I will not speculate on the seriousness of the injury.
McDaniel said that WR River Cracraft’s 21 day window was opening today. With the uncertain status of Hill, Cracraft might be activated sooner than later.
DB Nik Needham is now on the active roaster. Needham might seen his first action of the season this week if he is not one of the players on inactive list announced on game day.
OG Isaiah Wynn has been place on injured reserve meaning he is going to be out at least four weeks. McDaniel advised that Wynn “has a long journey ahead of him.”
It will be interesting to see who will replace Wynn as the starting left guard. Options include Lester Cotton, Robert Jones, and even possibly Liam Eichenberg if Connor Williams returns at center.
McDaniel would not comment of if he expects DB Jalen Ramsey to play this week against the Patriots. He cited that today was the first day of practice for this week for not knowing on where Ramsey is in terms of readiness.
The Return of the Players
A team can have 8 players return to the active roster during a season after that player has been placed on IR. The moves are running out quick for Miami, some important decisions will need to be made. It should be noted that Needham does not count against the 8 moves since he was on the unable to perform list instead of being on IR.
