News and Rumors
Some news and rumors concerning the Miami Dolphins. It is the offseason so not as much each coming out on our Fins but there are some nuggets. Good and bad.
News and Rumors: Miami Dolphins
Let’s get the bad news out of the way first. Tyreek Hill made headlines for all the wrong reasons last weekend. Hill went on a fishing charter out of the Haulover Marina along with his agent Drew Rosenhaus. This is not news of course but Hill was alleged to hit an employee that works for one of the fishing charter companies.
This is an ongoing investigation according to the Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD). There had been reports that the victim did not wish to pursue charges. However, the MDPD has said that this is still an ongoing investigation in which the victim does wish to pursue charges.
The charge is misdemeanor battery, so the punishment is not likely to be harsh from the justice system. But, Hill could face a civil lawsuit as well as punishment from NFL.
Local10.com is reporting that the NFL has sent an investigator to South Florida to look into the matter. The article advised the NFL declined to say anything further. The Miami Dolphins said they are aware of the situation but did not disclose any additional information.
Rumor Time
Dalvin Cook continues to be linked to the Dolphins. This time in his own words. During an interview, Cook described the Dolphins as a “perfect” fit for his skills. He also mentioned the New York Jets as a possible landing spot.
