Miami Dolphins beat the Raiders

The Dolphins Survive Against the Raiders

The Miami Dolphins played in a game that will not be filed as masterpiece, but they got the W! The Dolphins defeated the Las Vegas Raiders by a score of 20 to 13.

Dolphins Improve to 7 & 3

The Dolphins were coming off their bye week after losing to the Kansas City Chiefs back in week 9. The rust showed as Miami never really got into a consistent flow. Miami’s offense put up an impressive amount of yards, but had a tough time finding the endzone for the second game in a row.

The turnover bug struck again as the Dolphins fumbled twice as well an interception thrown by QB Tua Tagovailoa. Normally, three turnovers will hurt you in the NFL. But, today the defense bailed out the offense by creating three turnovers of their own.

One thing is evident, DB Jalen Ramsey is a difference maker on this Dolphins’ defense. The star DB came up with two incredibly athletic interceptions, the second sealed the the victory for Miami.

Offense Needs to Get in Sync

Yes, Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill once again put up amazing stats. Yet, despite all the yards, Miami could only muster 2 touchdowns.

The task of scoring more will be put to the test on Black Friday when the Dolphins travel to take on a tough New York Jets offense.

Bottom Line Business

The NFL is a bottom line business. Miami did enough to win this game, so that is all that matters for now. But, without some improvements as the season progresses to a conclusion those games could go the other direction.

For now, it feels good for the Dolphins to be sitting atop of the AFC East. If they keep winning in any fashion, Miami will remain in control of their own destiny in terms of winning the division.
