Titans Shock Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins entered this game against the Tennessee Titans as heavy favorites on Monday night. They left as a shocked team that lost 28 to 27. The lights were on at Hard Rock Stadium the but the Dolphins seemed off all night. It was not a good look for a national television audience.

Dolphins Sink During Monday Night Football

Games like this on a national stage will do nothing to eliminate the belief of many outsiders that the Dolphins are not legitimate Super Bowl contenders. Miami just never got into a flow on offense in this one. The defense kept Miami in the game, but the defense gave up the game in the end. Special teams allowed a block field goal.

We always say the Dolphins need to play complementary football. Well, in this one the offense, the defense, and the special teams all contributed to the loss. Yes, not the complementary football we were seeking.

Must Regroup Heading Into Final 4 Games

Miami had done a good job of winning the games that they were favored to will all season. But, this one ranks up there with one of the most disappointing loses over the past couple of decades without a playoff win. The season gets tougher from here on out.

The Jets will be flying high coming into Hard Rock Stadium since they are coming off a big win over the Houston Texans this past week. Then the schedule really gets sticky. No excuses, Miami must now change the narrative they can’t beat good teams. They just showed they can lose to a team that they are supposed to beat.
