Fanduel Week 18

Fanduel Week 18 Miami Dolphins

Fanduel Week 18 is here! The Dolphins are down to their-third string and rookie quarterback Skylar Thompson to lead them to the playoffs with a win and Patriots loss. It has been a tough stretch to end the season after a very strong start to the season but Miami still has a shot. This matchup for Fanduel purposes is a tough one against the Jets with Thompson starting and a strong New York defense.

Quarterbacks for Fanduel Week 18

Skylar Thompson is $6,400, which isn’t the lowest for a quarterback in week 18 but it is close to it. The Dolphins’ new backup Mike Glennon isn’t even an option on Fanduel as he wasn’t added in time. Thompson has been named the starter and has played a bit this year already. His top yardage in a game is just 166 and he has thrown one touchdown to three interceptions. It could be a risk to play the rookie.

Some good value plays on the slate are Aaron Rodgers and Jared Goff. They face off against each other and both need to win to get in the playoffs. This game could be high scoring and both teams have been playing well recently. They are $7,100 and $7,200 respectively. Quarterbacks to avoid include Tom Brady, Daniel Jones, and others who don’t need to win and may play just part of their week-18 game.

Running Backs

Week 17 was another week where Jeff Wilson Jr. and Raheem Mostert split the workload. They both did good against a tough defense. Wilson is a cheaper option by $600 which makes him a better bet if you go the Dolphins direction at running back. It is another tough matchup but that didn’t matter last week for them. More RB picks for Week 18 of Fanduel are listed below.

Seattle’s Kenneth Walker III has gotten back on track after missing some time. He ran for 107 and 133 yards the past two weeks and is just $7,700. Aaron Jones is also in a spot to smash at $7,400 against the Lions. He hasn’t been getting a huge workload recently but they haven’t needed him. This week they could unleash him. For some value look at Jonathan Williams for the Commanders who will get the start at $5,000 with both Brian Robinson Jr. and Antonio Gibson out.

Wide Receivers

Some of the lowest prices we have seen all season for Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle come this week on Fanduel. Hill is just $8,600 and Waddle is $7,200. That is undoubtedly a result of who will be throwing them the ball. The thing with these two is they can take a 10-yard pass to the end zone at any point. It could be a great time to take advantage of these low prices.

Last week we called out an $8,500 price tag for Davante Adams in a similar situation as Tyreek Hill and he went for 153 yards and two touchdowns. Another player to target for a good price is Garrett Wilson against the Dolphins. Game stacks are important on Fanduel and Wilson is just $7,100. He has cooled way off the past three weeks but he still got 11, 9, and 9 targets. Fanduel Week 18 WR picks to get open with for the money!

Tight Ends

Mike Gesicki caught his first touchdown since October last week. He had four targets and two catches for 18 yards as well. The price tag for Gesicki is still $4,800 but rookie quarterbacks normally love to throw to their tight ends, so he could have a little more value this week than he has had in the recent past.

Looking for some value at tight end you could look to Albert Okwuegbunam at $5,000. It is a risky play but he was expected to be a big part of the offense early in the season and finally is now getting a shot under a new coach. Last week he had six targets with 45 yards and a touchdown.

Defense: Week 18 Fanduel

Miami is one of the cheapest defenses on the slate at $3,500. They face Joe Flacco and the Jets which appears to be appealing but could be a trap. This game may have to be high scoring if the Dolphins are going to win. It isn’t the worst play to save some salary though if you want to take a shot.

The 49ers are a great defense to fire up if you have the salary. They are at $4,900 but they play Arizona who is starting David Blough and is without James Conner and Deandre Hopkins. It could be a dominant defensive showing for San Francisco.
