The Miami Dolphins easily beat the Cleveland Browns at Hard Rock Stadium today (11/13/2022). Miami played their most complete game of the season as they won 39-17.

The Dolphins Beat the Browns in Every Phase of the Game!

Miami won the coin toss but chose to defer. They allowed the Browns to take the opening drive down the field for a touchdown. That would be the only lead that Cleveland would have in this game.

Tua Tagovailoa of the Dolphins was once again on point. He was a major reason why the Dolphins beat the Browns on a hot day in South Florida.  He threw three touchdown passes to three different players to go along with 285 yards. Once again, Tua avoided turning over the ball. The first touchdown pass by Tua tied the game at 7 as he hit Alec Ingold for the score!

The most beautiful touchdown toss by Tagovailoa was his pass to Trent Sherfield which made the score 17 to 7 in Miami’s favor. That would be the score at halftime.

The Second Half

Miami had a good drive to start off the second half. Raheem Mostert capped off the drive with a 24-yard TD run. This drive was a good mix of run and pass.

Cleveland would answer with a field goal to make the score 24 to 10. The Dolphins offense continued to beat the Browns with a well-balanced attack. Miami would make it 30 to 10 when Tua hit Tyreek Hill with a touchdown, Jason Sanders would miss the first of two of his missed extra points in this game after the Hill TD.

The Dolphins stopped Nick Chubb for most of the day. But allowed a long TD run to him just when you thought Miami had the game under control.

Miami’s offense had no intent to let the Browns back into this contest as they added an FG making the score 33 to 17. The Dolphins defense helped beat the Browns when they sacked Jacoby Brissett on 4th down.

After the 4th down stop, Jeff Wilson would close out the scoring with a nice TD run. Sanders again missed the extra point. But, Miami had the game under wraps. That would complete the scoring.  It should be noted that Wilson had 119 rushing yards as he averaged 7 yards per carry. Hill and Waddle did not have huge yardage numbers this week. But, that is a good sign as it shows that Miami can spread it around.
