2023 NFL Draft: Jalen Carter, DL, Georgia
Caballero loves that even with all of Jalen Carter’s natural ability, he still brings the dog factor. He goes all out to make sure that the job gets done week in and week out. Big and strong with above-average speed which helps him play like a menace on gameday. Dominating force at the college level.
Caballero enjoyed watching Carter develop during Carter’s time at UGA. His power and contact balance are outstanding with excellent footwork. Will need to work on polishing up his push rush moves when he gets to the NFL. Big strong meat-hook-like arms will help Jalen Carter as he hones his talents at the next level.
A disruptive force that has the skill set to play with his hand in the dirt or standing up. Sound technique in keeping low and maintaining low pad leverage. Shreds would be blockers while tracking down the ball carrier. Flows to the ball naturally then tackles well when he gets there as he squares up and stays low.
